A matched pair, two-tone, engraved by hand
Two matching Star of David pendants in a high-polish two-tone finish, each carrying a raised ribbon panel across the face with hand-cut lettering and a single small round diamond flush-set into the panel.
Made as a pair, which is how these are usually commissioned — one for a parent and one for a child, or two siblings, engraved with the same hand at the same bench so the lettering matches. Hand-cut engraving does not repeat exactly across two pieces unless it is cut in one sitting.
The two-tone construction is structural rather than decorative: the star is worked in one tone and the ribbon panel laid over it in the other, so engraving sits on its own field and stays legible in the hand instead of disappearing into a mirror finish. On this pair the engraving itself is blurred in our photographs — it is a living client’s name, and it is theirs rather than ours to publish.

This is a real piece from current inventory, not a catalog entry. We publish only figures we can put in front of you on paper — so carat weight, color, clarity, the certificate and the price all come to you in writing on inquiry, usually the same day.
Can I have different lettering on each one?
Yes, and it is the more common request — two names rather than one repeated. It costs the same. What changes is that the two panels will not be identical, so we lay both out together first and show you the pair as a pair before cutting.
Is the engraving on this pair available?
No, and we have blurred it. The lettering on these two was cut for someone else, so publishing it would be publishing their name — what you can still judge from the photograph is the panel, the flush-set stone, the two-tone join and the proportions, which is what carries over to yours. Every pair is cut to its own commission, and we will not publish yours either unless you tell us we may.
Why is part of this photograph soft?
Because the name engraved on these pendants identifies the person who commissioned them. Nothing else in the frame has been altered: the metal, the stones, the polish and the scale are exactly as photographed, and we do not retouch merchandise.
