Current inventory
A tag paved edge to edge in dark stones
A yellow gold dog tag with cut corners, its face set entirely with small dark stones, on a heavy yellow gold chain. Photographed in the hand for scale.
Dark pavé behaves in the opposite way to colorless pavé. Small white stones return light and read as a bright field; dark stones absorb it and read as texture, so the surface looks like woven cloth rather than a sheet of glitter. Set against yellow gold the effect is graphic instead of sparkling.
It is the one piece in inventory that is not trying to look like fine jewelry in the traditional sense, and it is here because it sells to people who would never look at a halo ring.

Why the dark stones are not named
Dark stones of this kind might be treated diamonds, or they might be another species entirely, and the two are worth very different money. Telling them apart takes a gemmologist, not a camera. Identification is confirmed in writing before anything is invoiced.
Why there are no numbers on this page
This is a real piece from current inventory, not a catalog entry. We publish only figures we can put in front of you on paper — so carat weight, color, clarity, the certificate and the price all come to you in writing on inquiry, usually the same day.
Can it be made again?
Yes, as a new commission. The same design can be rebuilt to your stone, your metal and your size. Because it is quoted stone-first, you see exactly what each change costs.
