A run of ovals, east–west, across the finger
Oval stones laid on their sides in a continuous run, so the band reads as a series of wide links rather than as a row of points. Considerably more presence than a round band of the same weight.
Held against plain white and photographed from three angles, including straight down the profile so you can see how low the stones sit.
East–west ovals cover more of the finger than any round stone of comparable weight, which is the reason to choose them and the reason they are harder to set well.
